As ranks of job seekers swell, their peers pick the best online employment service providers.
STAMFORD, CT. In the face of the most serious economic downturn since the Great Depression, job seekers and employers alike need reassurance that their employment resources work and work well. There’s no better proof of that than WEDDLE’s annual User’s Choice Awards. They are the only awards in which actual users—those who are looking for employment and those who are looking employees—are able to vote for their favorite employment Web-sites.
WEDDLE’s, the leading publisher of print guides to the 100,000+ job boards now operating on the Internet, has conducted the poll since 2004. It is open to everyone who visits the WEDDLE’s site (www.weddles.com) and enables them to select those job boards they think serve them best. The top 30 vote getters are then named the User’s Choice Award winners each year.

Among the specialized sites, there are 4 industries represented, with healthcare leading the pack with 4 winners. There are also 3 sites that focus on senior level positions, and 2 sites that serve specific geographic locations.
