Keynote Speaker Announced
The IAEWS will hold its Fall Member Congress on October 26, 2010 in Hollywood, FL. The Keynote Speaker will be Dan Finnegan, formerly CEO of Yahoo! HotJobs and now the CEO of Jobvite. Dan will explore how technology is reshaping the world of work for both our customer sets: employers and candidates.
As always, the conference will also include presentations on key operational, technology and business development topics. Although specific sessions and speakers are still being finalized, we expect to cover:
• Improving relations with recruitment advertising agencies
• The final results of the Future of the Industry Committee study
• An update on the dot.jobs situation
• Benchmark response rates among various kinds of online ads
• The ever-popular Round Robin discussions on key industry topics
• And, of course, the even more popular Member Cocktail Reception.
Our Conference Chair is Don Firth, CEO of JobsinLogistics.com. Our Round Robin Discussion Leaders are Ken Levinson, CEO of Absolutely Healthcare, and Gabriel Bouchard, CEO of Workopolis. And, we expect those in attendance to include the movers and shakers, the thought leaders and legends, the famous and maybe even the infamous in our industry.
For all of those reasons, this is one event you don’t want to miss! We expect every seat to be filled, the information to be on point, the dialogue to be strategic, and the take-home value to be enormous. So, sign up now. Individual delegate registrations are just $235. The online registration portal is located here: https://www.jobtarget.com/site/1765/register.cfm.
One final note—before you register, you might want to check out the truly amazing two-fer discount we’ve negotiated for you and your team. It’s described below.
Special Two-Fer Discounts
The IAEWS is pleased to announce that it has negotiated a special discount for Members wishing to attend both of the two premier conferences in our industry this fall:
• the IAEWS Fall Member Congress on October 26th
and
• the ERE Fall Conference & Expo on October 27th and 28th.
The events will be held in the same venue: The Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Florida, USA.
Now, you can attend both of these events AND save over $600 off the standard registration rates. Instead of paying $1,740 per person, IAEWS Members will have access to the exclusive two-fer rate of just $1,115. That one fee enables you to get together with your peers at the IAEWS conference and then get together with your customers at the ERE conference (all while enjoying some quality time on Florida’s famed Gold Coast). So, don’t wait another minute, sign up now.
As noted above, the online registration portal is located here: https://www.jobtarget.com/site/1765/register.cfm. We thank IAEWS Member JobTarget OneClick for developing the online registration functionality.
The IAEWS has also been able to negotiate access for its delegates to ERE’s special discounted room rate at The Westin Diplomat. Rooms are being offered at $289 per night, plus tax. Given the popularity of these two events, the block of discounted rooms is likely to go fast, so make your reservations now. You can reach the hotel at 888.627.9057. Identify yourself as an attendee at the ERE 2010 Fall Expo.
